The RBLM2500WV is a high-performance hot-melt / Low Pressure Moulding (LPM) machine designed for moulding and low-pressure overmoulding of technical components with hot-melt resins, delivering fast, clean and repeatable protection, insulation and sealing.
Thanks to a configuration that can be used both vertically and horizontally and to a large, simplified mould platform, it adapts easily to many product types and tooling set-ups, from small batches to continuous production, while maintaining stable process conditions and consistent quality.
Typical applications
The machine is ideal for encapsulation and protection of components and assemblies such as connectors and micro electronic parts, sensors, coils, modules and small PCBs. It is also suitable for terminals, joints and sensitive points in assemblies (for example groups with cables, contacts and inserts), as well as protective fillings and sealing against moisture, dust, impacts and vibration.
Key strengths
The dual vertical/horizontal configuration provides real flexibility in cycle set-up and in positioning the part and mould, making it easier to run different tooling arrangements without complicating daily operation. The 3-litre melting system with a gear pump ensures stable material feeding and high repeatability, especially when working with regular cycles and requiring continuous output.
Temperature control is managed across 3 independent zones (tank, hose and gun(s)), helping to keep the material temperature more uniform along its path and reducing fluctuations that can affect quality and surface finish. When tighter control is required, the melting unit can be converted to an LM2000S extruder, a useful option to optimize material management and improve injection accuracy for more demanding applications.
To support shift organization, the machine features programmable automatic heating, so it can be ready to start at scheduled times. The modular structure also simplifies fault identification and speeds up maintenance, reducing downtime.
On the safety side, the machine includes protection against overheating and operator errors, along with devices such as two-hand control, a light curtain and an emergency stop. Finally, the standardized mould design simplifies tooling development and speeds up set-up, helping the operator switch between jobs more quickly.
