Sale of single core cables in bulk

Buying single core cables in bulk is a quick and convenient solution that allows you to have a good number of products available at an economical price (or in any case more at a lower price than those related to retail). However, when it comes to cables and wiring material, there is also another aspect to consider and that is safety. In fact, it is essential that in this field every article is compliant and certified, to avoid running into unpleasant and dangerous unforeseen events. At Errebishop, we have been operating professionally for over twenty years dealing with the production and wholesale of single core cables and wiring items. Over time we have expanded our offer more and more, and this has been possible thanks to the productivity of our two currently active factories which has allowed us to provide safe and cutting-edge products made of high quality materials, selected from reliable suppliers among the most important and established on the world market. On our site you can buy online choosing from a complete selection of single core cables, all accompanied by detailed technical data sheets where you can consult features and specifications. Furthermore, to answer your questions and resolve doubts about products or purchasing procedures, you can contact our assistance service, which will make all your operations on the platform easier.

What are single core cables

To understand what unipolar cables are we will first have to start from the definition of electric cable: this is a tool used to connect an electrical appliance to a power socket or to another device. Thanks to the established connection, there is a passage of current or signals that, traveling on the cable, can reach the device connected to it and put it into operation.

Specifically, single core cables consist of a single conductor; this is then covered by a sheath that can withstand the electric charge and by a layer of insulating material. The insulation protects the inside of the cable from stress and strain and at the same time isolates the passage of the current that is not dispersed towards the outside. There are several single-core cables on the market that are distinguished by size, insulation material, conductor metal, etc ... for this reason, to choose the ones that best suit your needs, we recommend that you carefully consult the relevant technical data sheets and specific characteristics.

How single core cables work

Unipolar cables have a simpler conformation than other types of cables (bipolar cables, three-pole cables, multipolar cables, etc.) but they work in a very similar way to them. The substantial difference with them, however, lies in the fact that if in cables with more conductors the current and signals pass through several channels, in single-core cables the passage will take place along a single channel.

Electric cables in general, as we have seen, have the task of carrying current and signals to devices, appliances, light points, etc. Without electric cables, therefore, it would not be possible to power any electric instrument. Each electric cable has its own specific characteristics to consider and, among all, the most important are the current capacity and the minimum and maximum temperature supported, factors that must be related to the potential stresses and the type of laying, which in domestic environments almost always occurs in basic conditions, while in more specific environments it can be subject to particular conditions: in this case, it will be good to evaluate whether the installation conditions may affect the electrical capacity or not.

Areas of use for single core cables

Single core cables are mainly used for internal wiring of appliances and electrical distribution devices. Most single-core cables are suitable for fixed laying and some of them are equipped with greater protection and resistance to external agents or various kinds of stress and strain (they can in fact be single or double insulated, resistant to very high temperatures, flexible etc ...). In most cases they are used in the circuits of tools and lighting equipment, or within motor systems that even reach high temperatures, in the circuits of transformers, generators and household appliances. We remind you that the cables chosen must be suitable for the conditions of use provided and must be equipped with adequate protection to avoid failures and the risk of short circuit (bathroom, kitchen, garden, for example, are environments that may seem harmless, but water, humidity and high temperatures, they could damage the cables). Therefore it is advisable to consult the relevant technical data sheets or ask for advice from an expert in the sector.
