Crimping tool for non-insulated terminals (Molex, Delphi, AMP, Deutsch)
Producer: ErreBi
The RBIWS-1424A is a ratchet crimping tool designed for the precise processing of non-insulated open barrel terminals used in Molex, Delphi, AMP-Tyco, Deutsch connectors and automotive, electronic, and computer applications.
The B-crimp profile ensures a controlled wrap of the terminal wings around the conductor, achieving stable, repeatable, and durable electrical connections even in high-density wiring.
Operation (B profile)
The open barrel terminal is placed in the corresponding crimp cavity; the ratchet mechanism gradually applies pressure until the wings of the terminal wrap around the conductor (and, if applicable, the insulation), forming a B-shaped crimp that ensures reliable electrical contact and mechanical strength.
The cycle cannot be completed until the correct pressure is reached, preventing under-crimping.
Advantages and typical uses
1) Process repeatability: each cycle closes only at the correct force, ensuring consistent quality.
2) Reduced waste: fewer under/over-crimping defects.
3) Automotive wiring.
4) Electronics and PC (fans, backplanes, auxiliary power connections).
5) Electrical panels / automation systems.
6) Repairs and custom wiring.
