Description
The RBIWS-2546S is designed to reliably crimp solar contacts (male and female pins) on photovoltaic cables in sizes from 2.5 to 6 mm² (equivalent to AWG 14 - 10).

Advantages

1) More uniform and repeatable crimping: the tool features a high-precision ratchet mechanism that helps complete the crimp correctly and reduces operator errors.

2) Less fatigue: ergonomic handle for longer work with greater comfort.

3) Robust structure: steel construction for continuous use.

Main steps for use

- Make custom PV cables (strings, extensions, branches)

- Prepare wiring for inverters, combiner boxes, storage systems using MC4 connectors

1) Strip the PV cable to the correct length for the contact.

2) Insert the conductor into the solar contact (male or female).

3) Place the contact into the tool (with the help of the locator) and close until the ratchet cycle is completed.

4) Check visually and with a light pull that the crimp is stable.
