Cable unwinder for reels Ø 120 to 400mm (max 50kg)

The RBEW14G is an automatic machine designed to support cable unwinding processes.
Its main function is to manage the continuous and controlled feeding of the cable from reels, minimizing errors, unwanted tension and breakage, and ensuring a smooth transition to the next machines in the processing line.

General features

The RBEW14G plays a crucial role: it maintains constant cable tension, synchronizes the release speed with the production line, and prevents the cable from twisting or jamming during the passage between the reel and the next station.

It is designed to handle cables with an outer diameter of less than 6.0 mm, support reels with an outer diameter up to approximately 500 mm and a maximum weight of about 50 kg.

A feed belt pressure adjustment system prevents cable deformation while ensuring sufficient grip for smooth movement.

Step-by-step operation

1) Reel loading
The cable (on reel) is mounted on the machine’s support shaft within the standard dimensions (reels with an outer diameter up to 500 mm).
The system also provides a customizable internal diameter (ID) range of 120 - 300 mm to fit different spool types.

2) Cable feeding
Once in operation, the RBEW14G begins to pull the cable from the reel in a controlled motion.
The feeding belt and pressure system work together to move the cable evenly.

3) Line synchronization
The variable frequency system ensures that the cable output speed is synchronized with the downstream machines (cutting and stripping).
In this way, there are no wire jerks or stand-by moments.

4) Stop
When the reel is empty, the system automatically detects it (via sensors or limit switches) and can stop or switch to the next reel.
Any anomalies (cable blockage, over-tension) are handled automatically to protect the line.
