Cable unwinder for reels Ø 400 to 630mm (max 1000kg)

The RBEW1435 operates as a cable unwinding station, maintaining constant tension, avoiding unwanted twisting, preventing slippage, and synchronizing the unwinding with the line speed. It is suitable for cables with diameters between 3 and 20 mm and supports reels with outer diameters between 400 and 1000 mm and reel widths between 250 and 750 mm, with a load capacity of up to 1000 kg.

The system adopts a variable frequency motor (inverter), allowing continuous adjustment of the feed speed, automatically adapting to variations in the production line demand. The machine includes a motorized lifting mechanism for the reel and a quick-lock system to facilitate cable loading and quick reel changes.

Operating process

1) Reel loading
The cable reel is mounted on the support device (OD from 400 to 1000 mm). The motorized mechanism assists in lifting the reel and securing it quickly.

2) Start-up and adjustments
When powered on, the inverter sets the initial cable speed. The operator can adjust tension and control. The motorized system manages the reel position and the quick-lock system.

3) Cable feeding
During operation, the machine pulls the cable from the reel smoothly and evenly. The inverter adjusts the extraction speed in response to line demand: if the demand increases, it accelerates; if it decreases, it slows down or keeps the cable on standby. This prevents material breakage or tearing.

4) Stop
When the reel is empty or an anomaly occurs (cable blockage, over-tension), sensors or limit switches detect the event, and the machine can automatically stop or switch to a backup reel.
