The RBEW14A2 is a cable dereeling machine designed to facilitate the automatic feeding process of cables in production lines. It is designed to support heavy loads, reduce downtime, and ensure controlled and uniform cable feeding, especially during the initial processing stages (before cutting, stripping, or crimping).

General features and functions

The RBEW14A2 acts as an intermediate feeding station.
Its purpose is to maintain stable tension, avoid unwanted twisting, prevent cable slippage, and synchronize the output with the line speed.

The main structure is built with high-strength steel, providing rigidity and stability to the frame. The machine uses a three-phase motor coupled with a reducer, with an inverter / speed control system that allows adjustment of the dereeling speed according to the line requirements. Tension adjustment is achieved through a mechanical mechanism, allowing precise control of cable tension during extraction.

Operating process

1) Reel loading
The cable reel is placed on the central cylinder of the machine within the diameter limits (400-1000 mm). The system is designed to accommodate large reels with widths up to the specified size. The RBEW14A2 model, in particular, supports reels with a height of up to 800 mm.

2) Start-up and adjustments
Once started, the machine sets the basic dereeling speed through the inverter/motor. The operator can adjust cable tension and limit switches to prevent the cable from being too tight or too loose. The counterweight or tensioning mechanisms assist in maintaining a constant unwinding process.

3) Cable movement
The machine pulls the cable from the reel smoothly. The motor + reducer system provides controlled force, while sensors can detect speed variations or anomalies. If the line demand increases, the system adjusts the extraction speed; if it decreases, it slows down or keeps the cable in standby, avoiding breakages or unwanted tension.

4) Stop
When the reel is empty, sensors or limit switches detect the event, and the machine can automatically stop or switch to another reel. If anomalies occur (cable blockage, over-tension, etc.), the system automatically stops the operation to prevent damage.
