Automatic machine for cable shield brushing and cutting (3 - 9 mm)

The RBEW1060 is a compact machine designed to quickly and consistently prepare the braided shield of cables: it brushes the cable’s shielding jacket, folds the shield back, and cuts it to the set size in a single controlled cycle. Operation via digital touch screen and integrated guards simplifies use and increases operator safety.

Operating flow

1) Parameter setting
From the touch screen, select the program and set the measurements: stripping length and residual shield length to leave/fold back (typical range 3 – 10 mm)
2) Braid brushing
The machine opens and brushes the braided shield in a controlled manner, separating the strands without damaging them
3) Folding back
The braid is folded back evenly, brought to size according to the set residual value
4) Final cutting
A cutting unit trims the shield to the programmed residual length

Best practices

1) Perform an initial test for each new cable family: check actual OD, stripping length, and residual braid
2) Keep the brushing area clean and empty the scrap container regularly to preserve process consistency
3) For very tight braids, slightly reduce feed and optimize brushing to limit stray strands
