Automatic machine for cable shield brushing and twisting (2 - 10 mm)

The RBEW704-1 is an automatic machine designed for fast and standardized preparation of cable shields, specifically for processes such as stripping + brush shield + twist weave (insulation stripping, brushing and twisting of the cable).

Wide application range: designed for shielded cables of small/medium diameter typically used in USB, DC/1185, automotive connectors, microphones and similar.

The productivity of the RBEW704-1 is very high, reaching 2,400–2,600 pieces/hour (depending on stripping length and cable), ensuring strong throughput on large batches.

Operating flow

1) Cable positioning and adjustment
The operator selects the program according to the cable outer diameter (OD) (2–10 mm), sets the working length (stripping 10–40 mm) and secures the cable in the work area.
2) Stripping
The machine removes the insulation according to the set length (10–40 mm), achieving a uniform exposure of the shield.
3) Shield brushing
A brushing head opens the braid in a controlled way, separating the shield strands without damaging them, thus preparing a clean presentation for twisting.
4) Twisted weave
The shield is gathered and twisted with a regular pitch.
