The RBIWS-1424B is a ratchet crimping tool designed for precise crimping of non-insulated terminals such as Weather Pack and Metri-Pack, used in automotive, motorcycle, marine, and industrial wiring systems.

Operation

The Weather Pack terminal is inserted into the corresponding crimp cavity, along with the stripped wire and seal.

During crimping, the tool performs two simultaneous operations:

1) Firmly crimps the conductor into the terminal body;

2) Compresses the insulation or seal, ensuring mechanical and electrical tightness.

3) The ratchet mechanism prevents release until the correct pressure is reached, avoiding incomplete crimps or defects.
