Machine for automatic tightening of MC4 solar connector cable gland

The RBEW-1080 is a semi-automatic machine for the assembly of solar connectors (e.g., MC4 and compatibles), designed to tighten the nuts on male/female connectors in a fast, repeatable, and safe way.

Equipped with anti-crush protection and an emergency stop button to enhance operational safety. The interface is intuitive and multilingual, with status indicators (OK/NG) for immediate cycle validation.

How it works

The operator inserts the connector (positive or negative) into the clamping station; the guide/clamp system holds the connector body while the screwing unit performs nut tightening up to the set target.

The tightening distance acts as an inspection/acceptance criterion: once the value is reached, the machine stops the stroke and releases the part, reducing over-tightening and nonconformities.
