The Cat 5e structure makes it suitable for the most common data networks (offices, advanced home installations, links between network devices, internal cabling for data transmission), with a build designed for practical and repeatable installation.

The key strength of this cable is the combination of:

1) foil shielding (F/UTP), useful for reducing the influence of external electromagnetic interference (typical of shared cable trays, control panels, runs close to power cables);

2) 4 twisted pairs (8 conductors total), essential for Ethernet connections;

3) a PVC jacket with a white finish, useful for quick identification in installations with multiple runs or color standards.

Shielding is made with Al-PET foil (aluminium/polyester), a typical solution in FTP cables: it helps limit noise picked up from the outside and improves signal stability in electrically “noisy” environments, while still keeping installation simple.

This model uses CCA (Copper Clad Aluminium) conductors, i.e. copper-coated aluminium, suitable for many standard networks and typical installations, while for more critical applications a pure copper (Cu) cable is often preferred.
