ICrimp® AWG 8-22 Wire Stripper, 6.7 "" length
Wire stripper and cutter detail:

- Composite action wire stripping: gripping and stripping by single action squeezing movement.
- Remove up to 1 "(24 mm) length of the insulation layer (backing layer) in one step.
- Tension loaded wire grip gently holds cable in place while maintaining cable geometry.
- Die-cast alloy frame with heavy-duty Ecoat finish for corrosion resistance and durability.

APPLICATION:
- Twisted wires: AWG 22-10
- Solid wires: AWG 20-8
- Cutting range: Max AWG 10

PEELING AWG 8-22 WIRE
- Place the wire perpendicular to the appropriate caliber cutting knives.
- Extend the edge of the wire to the desired strip depth (not to exceed 1 ”), extending from the edge of the cutting knives.
- Quickly tighten the handles: the knives engage and will remove the insulating layer (insulating sheath), exposing the bare wire.
- At the end of the stripping cycle, release the handles and the jaws will open freeing the stripped wire.

NOTE: Two activations are required for clear nylon conductors.

TOOL MAINTENANCE:
- Always clean the instrument and remove insulation debris after each operation to ensure proper operation.
- Periodically inspect and tighten the cutting knives / blades to ensure proper cutting action.
- Proper lubrication of this tool is very important. Lack of lubrication can significantly reduce tool life.
- Lubricating oil must be applied at regular intervals to all pivot points and moving parts.
- Easily cut and strip 8-22 AWG wire.
- Composite action wire stripping: gripping and stripping by single action squeezing movement.
