The MODU II series connector is a housing designed to accommodate 10 crimpable contacts, with a 2.54 mm pitch in a single row.
It is used for wire-to-wire or wire-to-board termination, or for creating flying leads that then plug into a male counterpart. Simply insert the crimp terminals into the housing and then mate with the corresponding header or pin housing (the male part), thus obtaining a solid and mechanical electrical connection.
The housing is made of black thermoplastic, compact and robust, designed to withstand operating conditions even at relatively high temperatures, vibrations, or light industrial use.
With a nominal current of approximately 3 A per contact, it is ideal for signals, lightweight power supplies, electronic controls, and devices that do not require high currents, but where reliability, compatibility (thanks to the standard 2.54 mm pitch), and ease of assembly are crucial.
In terms of safety and durability, it can operate over a wide temperature range, from -65°C to +105°C, making it compatible with applications that must withstand both extreme cold and moderate heat.
