The SPT terminal is a crimpable flat terminal designed for reliable connections in automotive and industrial applications. It is made of stamped metal with a tin finish, and the flat plug measures 5.8 x 0.8 mm, allowing it to fit securely into corresponding housings. It is compatible with wire up to 11 AWG (4 mm2), with insulation ranging from approximately 2.7 to 3.7 mm.

It is designed to carry high currents of up to 25-40 A while maintaining good performance even in extreme conditions, with operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to +130°C.

The termination is a crimp type: the terminal is secured to the wire using special pliers to ensure a robust mechanical and electrical contact. The material (tin) is chosen to resist corrosion and improve conductivity.

It is perfect when a solid, long-lasting connection is needed, in applications with vibration, temperature fluctuations, harsh environments, or in standard automotive wiring where reliability is required.
